In 1307, a stele was engraved with this record about how the monastery along with the hall was built and rebuilt as well as the manifestation of Deity Xuanwu. The record is in fact Yuan  Dynasty artist Zhao Mengfu’s running script. This masterpiece is one of Zhao’s few genuine handwritings.
