南宋绍兴二十六年（1156）摹勒上石。北宋李公麟画像，宋高宗赵构撰文并书圣贤像赞之序。该组石刻为南宋太学遗存，原有十五石，刻像七十三人，今存十四石，刻像六十五人。末石有明宣德二年（1427）吴讷题识，由刘数刻石。题识讲述了碑石的由来，并说明图赞后原有秦桧的题记，因不耻其为人而磨去。题识后有清顺治、嘉庆、道光年间关于碑石重竖、重整等内容的记载。
In 1156, these odes by Emperor Gaozong of Southern Song Dynasty along with Northern Song Dynasty artist Li Gonglin’s portraits were engraved on steles. There used to be 15 steles of the 73 persons, but now 1 stele has been lost so that you can only see 65 person on the remaining steles. Especially, Ming dynasty scholar Wu Ne left his note at the last stele in 1427, stating that Qin Hui’s postscript had been removed because of his despicable conduct. Later in the Qing dynasty, those steles were re-erected several times during Shunzhi, Jiaqing and Daoguang period.
