In 1343, a stele was engraved with Yang Weizhen’s record using Chen Gou’s handwriting. It’s recorded that the fire happened at Cheqiao, Hangzhou and soon affected the West Lake Academy. Luckily enough, it was quenched in the end. This is China’s first stele inscription on fire so far.
